Happy Floors Statik Tile

Happy Floors Statik is a stone look porcelain tile in natural and polished finishes, made in 12x24, 24x24 and 24x48, with a matching hexagon mosaic, 2" mosaic and bullnose in every color.

Sizes and finishes

The 24x48 is heavy: a box holds two tiles and weighs about 76 lb. Plan for two people to handle and set each piece.

Natural or Polished?

This is the main decision with Statik. Natural has a low-sheen surface with more grip underfoot, so it is the better choice for kitchen, entry and bathroom floors. It also hides footprints and water spots. Polished reflects light and makes a room feel brighter and larger, which works best on walls, fireplaces and dry, low-traffic floors. Polished porcelain gets slippery when wet, so keep it off bathroom floors.

Colors

Statik comes in Blend, Rust, Charcoal and Electrik. The names don’t describe the base tone: Blend, Rust and Charcoal are white-base tiles, and Electrik is light grey. Each has its own stone pattern, so compare the photos side by side, and order samples before you choose. Screen colors rarely match a tile in your own lighting. You may also see Electrik searched as “Elektrik”.

Matching mosaics and trim

Every Statik color comes in the hexagon mosaic, the 2" mosaic and the bullnose, in both finishes. That means you can run the floor, tile a shower floor or niche, and finish the edges without hunting for pieces that nearly match. On a full bathroom, that is the practical reason to choose one series instead of mixing products.

Before you order

• Check floor flatness for the 24x24 and 24x48. Large tiles show any dip as uneven edges (lippage).
• Choose the finish room by room. Polished on walls, natural on floors works well in the same space.
• Order extra. Allow about 10% for cuts and breakage, more for diagonal layouts.

FAQs

Q) Is Statik natural finish good for bathroom floors?

A) Natural is the better Statik finish for a bathroom floor because it has more grip than polished. For a shower floor, use the 2" mosaic in natural. The extra grout lines add grip where the floor stays wet.

Q) What colors does Happy Floors Statik come in?

A) Four: Blend, Rust, Charcoal and Electrik. Blend, Rust and Charcoal are white-base tiles and Electrik is light grey, so check photos or samples rather than going by the names.

Q) Does Statik come with matching trim?

A) Yes. There is a 3x24 bullnose, plus a hexagon mosaic and a 2" mosaic, in all four colors and both finishes.

Q) Can I use the 24x48 in a small room?

A) Yes. Fewer grout lines can make a small floor look larger. It needs a very flat floor and careful handling, so if your floor isn’t level, the 12x24 is the safer choice.
