Bella Como+ 9" x 60" SPC Luxury Vinyl Plank 22milBella Flooring Group offers a range of luxury vinyl flooring built around different installation methods, plank formats, wear layers, and everyday performance needs. Its hard-surface collections include rigid-core SPC flooring as well as glue-down and loose-lay LVP and LVT.
That variety matters because two Bella floors can have a similar wood or stone appearance while behaving very differently once installed. The best choice depends on the room, expected traffic, subfloor condition, installation method, and the level of durability you need.
Choose Bella Flooring by Construction
Bella flooring is not limited to one type of vinyl construction. Some collections use a rigid SPC core, while others use flexible glue-down or loose-lay vinyl.
Understanding that difference is a better starting point than choosing by color alone.
Bella SPC and Rigid Core Flooring
Bella's rigid-core collections include options such as Bari, Como, Como+, Northshore, Silva, American Woodlands, and other SPC lines.
Rigid SPC flooring has a firm core that helps the plank hold its shape under normal use. Many Bella SPC collections also use click-lock installation, making them suitable for floating floor applications.
This type of construction can be useful when you want the feel of a more substantial plank, easier floating installation, and flooring designed to handle the moisture and traffic conditions commonly found in kitchens, living areas, hallways, and other active spaces.
The collections are not identical, however. Plank dimensions, total thickness, wear layer, locking systems, underlayment, and surface details vary. Compare the specifications of the individual collection rather than assuming every Bella SPC floor will perform or install the same way.
Bella LVP and LVT Flooring
Bella also offers flexible luxury vinyl options for projects where glue-down or loose-lay installation makes more sense.
The Marche and Lazio collections are a good example of why installation method matters.
Marche is designed as a glue-down LVP and LVT floor, while Lazio uses a thicker loose-lay format that can also require full-spread installation depending on the application. Both offer wood- and stone-inspired options, but the way the flooring is installed changes how the finished floor behaves and what preparation may be required underneath it.
Bella Vista is another glue-down vinyl option and is designed with a heavier wear layer for projects where additional surface durability may be useful.
For larger spaces, commercial environments, rolling loads, or areas with specific subfloor conditions, installation requirements deserve as much attention as the appearance of the flooring.
Wear Layer Matters, but It Is Not the Whole Floor
Bella flooring collections are available with different wear-layer specifications.
A thicker wear layer can provide additional protection to the printed design beneath the surface, particularly where foot traffic is higher. But wear layer alone should not be used to judge the entire floor.
Compare Bella Flooring Collections Before Choosing a Color
Flooring is often selected visually first, especially when several wood tones appear similar on screen. With Bella, it is worth narrowing the collection before narrowing the color.
FAQs
Q) Do you want a floating or glue-down floor?
A) A click-lock SPC collection and a glue-down LVP may look similar after installation, but the installation process and subfloor requirements are different.
Q) How much traffic will the room receive?
A) Bedrooms and low-traffic areas do not create the same demands as kitchens, entryways, offices, or commercial spaces.
Q) What plank size works with the room?
A) Wider or longer planks can change how open a floor appears, while tile-format vinyl may be more appropriate when you want a stone-inspired look.
